Why does the app create duplicate of the order?

The "A"-suffixed order comes from one global setting meeting the one case it can't handle — an order placed in a currency other than your store's default.

An order number with an A on the end — 1042A sitting beside 1042 — is created by the app. Nothing was sold twice and nothing was charged twice: the duplicate is a zero-cost order, and the original is the one that carries the money.

What creates it

Enable compatible with 3rd party inventory splits product-page bundles into separate order lines, so external inventory and fulfillment apps can see and process each component rather than a single opaque bundle line. It is a global setting, applied to every bundle that has a product page — there is no per-bundle version of it.

One case defeats that split. An order that isn't in your store's default currency cannot be split this way. Instead, the app creates a zero-cost duplicate of the order, with the original order number plus an A suffix, and that duplicate is where the components appear on their own lines.

So the duplicate shows up only when both things are true: the setting is on, and the order came in on a non-default currency.

What the duplicate does and doesn't affect

It costs nothing, so it doesn't change what the customer paid or what you're owed.

It is excluded from the app's analytics, so your bundle revenue, order counts and ROI figures aren't inflated by it. Analytics counts the original order only.

If you'd rather not have them

Turning Enable compatible with 3rd party inventory off stops the duplicates, because nothing is being split any more. That also means no product-page bundle order is split into its components on any order, in any currency — which is the reason the setting exists. Weigh that against how much the duplicates actually get in your way; because the setting is global, you can't keep the split for default-currency orders on some bundles and not others.
