Upsell popups help you increase revenue and average order value by suggesting additional products to customers when they're already engaged and ready to buy.
Step 1: Access Upsell Settings
Navigate to your MBC Bundles dashboard
Find the Upsell tool card
Click Set up upsell to open the configuration page
Step 2: Configure Upsell Popup
Enable the Feature
Toggle Enable Upsell Popup to ON
The popup will show bundle offers when customers add qualifying products to their cart
Choose Where Popups Appear Select which pages will display the upsell popup:
Homepage - Show offers on your main page
Product page - Display on individual product pages (works only with slider cart)
Collection page - Show on category/collection pages
Cart page - Display offers on the cart page
Note: The popup only appears when there's at least one product in the cart that's part of an active bundle. If multiple qualifying products are in the cart, the system shows bundles that include those products.
Set Multiple Appearances (Optional)
Number of additional appearances: Set how many extra times the popup can show (default: 0)
Interval: Set time between popup appearances in seconds (default: 10)
Step 3: Configure Post-Purchase Upsell
Enable Post-Purchase Recommendations The system automatically provides AI-driven post-purchase upsells that show 1-3 tailored product suggestions on the thank you page, excluding items customers just purchased.
Set Up in Shopify
Go to Shopify Admin β Settings β Checkout β Post Purchase page
Select 'MBC Bundle Products' as your post-purchase upsell app
Click 'Save'
Customize the Offer
Heading: Create compelling copy like "Special offer today only"
Discount: Set a percentage discount to incentivize the additional purchase (e.g., 5%)
