👉 Free gifts for Volume Discount bundles
You can now attach one or more free gift products to any tier of a Volume Discount bundle. Reward shoppers with a free item when they reach a specific discount option — right inside the same bundle.
Enable Add free gift on any Volume Discount discount option to attach a free gift. A gift slot is added for you to fill in, and you can add more than one.
On the storefront, gifts are clearly marked with a FREE GIFT label, so customers can tell the item is free — even when a gift is preselected.
The FREE GIFT text is fully customizable on the Widget customization page.
👉 Add free gifts to the cart automatically
Free gifts can now be added to the cart automatically, not only through the bundle widget — so shoppers don't miss the gift they've earned.
How it works:
Free gifts are always optional for the customer.
Preselected gift (optional): when enabled in the app, the widget shows the first available gift in the group already selected.
Automatic adding (optional): when enabled, the gift is added to the cart for the customer:
If the tier has one free gift, it's added to the cart automatically. The customer can remove it, and it stays available to re-add from the free gift bubble.
If the tier has more than one free gift, a selection modal opens so the customer can choose. They can close it without selecting, or pick a gift — and can add or remove the gift later from the free gift bubble.
Tip: Use automatic adding for single-gift tiers to make sure the reward always lands in the cart, and the selection modal for multi-gift tiers to let shoppers choose the gift they want.
