Custom property fields let customers add their own input to a bundle — engraving text, a monogram, a gift message, or a delivery note. Whatever they enter is saved to the order as a line-item property, so your team sees exactly what to produce or include when fulfilling.
Best for: personalized and made-to-order products, gifts, and anything that needs a customer note.
How to add a custom property field
On your MBC Bundles dashboard, open a bundle in the editor (or click Create new bundle).
Find the Custom property fields section.
Click Add field and configure it:
Field type — text input, dropdown, or checkbox.
Label — what the customer sees (e.g. "Engraving text" or "Gift message").
Required or optional — whether the customer must fill it in to add to cart.
(For text) an optional character limit; (for dropdowns) the list of options.

Add more fields if needed.
Click Save and Publish.
The field now appears in the bundle widget, and the customer's input is attached to the order line item.
Tips
Keep required fields to a minimum — every extra required field adds friction to checkout.
Use clear labels and, where useful, a placeholder or character limit so customers know what to enter.
The submitted values appear on the order in your Shopify admin, ready for fulfillment.
