If a control is greyed out with a PRO badge, the section on plans below explains what that actually means before you assume an upgrade is required.
Plans
Plan | Price | Store orders / 30 days |
Free | $0 | under 10 (self-service) |
Tier 1 | $15.99 / month | up to 250 |
Tier 2 | $59.99 / month | up to 1,000 |
Tier 3 | $159.99 / month | up to 2,500 |
Tier 4 | $259.99 / month | up to 5,000 |
Enterprise | from $399.99 / month | 5,000–10,000 orders at $399.99; 10,000+ at $599.99 |
All plans include every feature — see below. Free also includes development and Shopify Plus sandbox stores; Tier 4 adds no additional charges beyond its flat price; Enterprise adds a personal Slack channel and an account manager.
Usage is measured in store orders over the trailing 30 days. Exceeding a tier's limit in a month upgrades the store automatically to the next tier's price, capped at $259.99/month; downgrading is manual once you're eligible for it. Annual plans exist on request. Billing runs through Shopify every 30 days in USD. Paid plans include a 7-day free trial, and a 30-day extended trial can be requested from support.
Does every plan really have "all features"?
Yes, on current pricing — Free, Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3, Tier 4, and Enterprise. On these plans, Product groups, Optional products, the Quantity selector, per-product discount pricing (Applies to → Individual product price), and Create a product for this bundle are all available with no PRO badge, including on Free.
If your screen shows a PRO badge on any of those controls, your shop is most likely on an older, legacy plan generation (Growth, Growth+, an older Basic tier, or Free on an older legacy plan) rather than current pricing — the plan table above isn't wrong for you, it simply describes a different pricing generation. Don't assume an upgrade is required just because you see a PRO badge; if you're unsure which plan generation your shop is on, contact support and mention that you're seeing a PRO badge so they can check it.
Free plan thresholds
Below 10 store orders. In the trailing 30 days, Free is selected self-service and takes effect immediately.
10 to 19 orders. The button on the Free plan card changes its label to Apply, but pressing it only sends a request to support — it does not change the plan by itself. This is what shows up as "clicking Free does nothing"; free usage in this band is granted or extended manually by support.
20 or more orders. The Free card is disabled and shows Limit reached. A store already on Free keeps working past this point for a 5-day grace period after the limit is recorded — after that, widgets stop rendering until a plan is chosen.
Analytics
Analytics is available on paid plans only — it doesn't render on the Free plan regardless of order volume.
Numeric limits and validation ceilings
Catalog and combinations
Products with up to 2,048 variants are supported.
A Shopify bundle can hold up to 2,048 combinations; a Physical bundle up to 250 price combinations. Uncombined quantity and Optional products both multiply how fast that count grows.
Physical and Shopify bundles cannot use the quantity selector, tiered discounts, or collection-based groups at all — see "The kinds of bundle you can build."
The bundle type (Widget-only / Physical / Shopify) is fixed at creation — the control is disabled in edit mode and the server overwrites any type sent in the request; duplicating the bundle is the only route to a different type.
Discount options and tiers (Volume discount)
Required items on each option must exceed the previous option by at least one.
Once an option discounts, every option after it must also discount; percentage and amount-off values increase across options, sale prices decrease.
Exactly one Pre-selected default option per bundle.
Badge text: 24 characters or fewer. Label text: 40 characters or fewer, and only shown when the option discounts.
Tiered discount (the Product-bundle version, not Volume discount) requires Optional products or the Quantity selector turned on, and is percentage-only.
Product settings
Maximum items allowed must be at least Minimum items required, and at least the number of required (non-Optional) groups.
Minimum items required must be at or below the number of products you've actually added.
Both Item quantity and Minimum/Maximum items fields accept whole numbers 1–999.
A required custom property field blocks Add to cart until it's filled in.
Scheduling and experiments
A bundle's start date must be in the future and before its end date; the end date must be after the start date.
The countdown timer is display-only in every mode. Only the End date and time in the Bundle active period card ends a bundle.
Up to 4 A/B test variants (A–D) per bundle.
Design system
Product description in the widget is available on the list layout only.
Customer reviews requires a connected review app.
The Timer element requires the bundle to have an end date set.
Custom CSS and Custom JS are each capped at 50,000 characters.
The AI Style Assistant has a daily usage quota, and reference images must be under 1 MB (PNG/JPG/WebP).
Cart and checkout
Third-party inventory splitting only works for orders in the store's default currency — see "How a bundle reaches the cart, checkout and the order" for what happens otherwise.
Free gifts are always optional for the customer to accept, across all three free-gift mechanisms.
Shopify's own account-wide ceiling on active automatic discounts applies to bundles like any other automatic discount — bundles beyond it stop discounting, with a warning shown on the bundle list.
What happens if you uninstall
Uninstalling triggers a backend job that unpublishes every bundle and deletes the app's automatic discount, so bundle discounts stop applying on the storefront immediately. Bundle products the app created stay in your catalogue as ordinary Shopify products afterward — delete them yourself if you don't want to keep them. Your bundle configuration is kept in case you reinstall, unless you specifically request deletion from support.
The in-app uninstall wizard itself only collects your reason and offers retention options (two free months for smaller stores; an account-manager call or email for larger ones) and explains data retention — it doesn't remove any theme code, and there's no automated check of your store after uninstalling.
Account management
Enterprise customers and selected larger segments get a personal Slack channel and an account-manager relationship (chat, email, and the option to book a call), in addition to standard support.
