Where: Bundle form → Advanced tab → Countdown timer → Show countdown timer checkbox.

This checkbox is always present. Tick it to display a countdown inside this bundle's widget. Unticking it deletes the timer's settings — so if you re-tick it later, it starts again from the default condition, not from what you had configured before.

Once "Show countdown timer" is ticked, a Conditions select appears (labeled "Conditions" when the bundle-end option is selected, and "Timer conditions" for the other three options). This select is greyed out on the non-primary variant of a running A/B test. Pick one of four conditions:

Shows the bundle's real expiry, so the timer reaching zero and the bundle actually expiring happen at the same moment. This needs "Set end date and time" ticked in the Bundle active period card — with no end date, or one that's already past, no timer is drawn at all.

Shoppers see a countdown to the bundle's own end moment, and no countdown section at all when the bundle has no end date.

A Duration (min) field appears beside the select, seeded to 15. Enter a whole number of minutes greater than zero to give every shopper their own personal countdown of that length — it's remembered in their browser across page views until it runs out.

Nothing is drawn when the number is zero or empty.

This condition, and its Duration field, are greyed out on the non-primary variant of a running A/B test.

Counts down to the next midnight in each shopper's own timezone. There's no further field to fill in.

End date and End time fields appear, seeded to one hour from now. Pick a date and time in the future to run the countdown to a moment of your own choosing, independent of the bundle's own end date. The countdown section hides once it ends.

The date picker refuses days before yesterday, and this whole block is greyed out on the non-primary variant of a running A/B test.

Validation: saving is blocked on a past or missing value, with the message "End date and time must be in the future".

The Title field (labeled "Title" for the bundle-end condition, "Timer title" for the other three) is the caption shown above the countdown. The placeholder suggests "Hurry! Offer expires in". Leave it empty and it falls back to an older store-wide timer caption. The Translate button beside it lets you give different wording per widget language.

This is worth being precise about: the countdown timer is a display element only. None of the four conditions ever starts, stops, or expires a bundle. Only the End date and time in the Bundle active period card decides whether a bundle is actually served to shoppers — "Follow end date and time set for bundle" simply shows that same moment to the shopper; it doesn't create it.

If your bundle was previously set up with a "start the timer again after it ends" option on the Fixed duration or Midnight conditions, there's no longer a control for it in the admin — but if that setting is already saved on your bundle, it's still honored.
